Positive Education

Positive education brings together academic learning and wellbeing, based on the science of positive psychology.

What is Positive Education?

Positive education brings together academic learning and wellbeing, based on the science of positive psychology. It helps students build resilience, motivation and emotional skills alongside their studies, so they can both achieve and thrive.

I support schools to embed practical, evidence-based strategies that work in real classrooms. I work with staff to confidently integrate wellbeing into teaching, with parents to better support their children at home, and with students to develop the mindset and skills they need to navigate challenges, manage stress and perform at their best.

Our founder Clare Martin began her career in education, teaching psychology in a secondary school. She moved into Further Education and Higher Education increasingly focusing on Mental Health and Wellbeing to support young people to flourish. With her extensive experience in the field of wellbeing alongside her teaching background she often runs bespoke training and gives talks in education settings.

Parent Webinar with MyEdSpace

Parent’s wellbeing becomes even more important during the exam season. MyEdSpace provides tech-enabled live teaching to students across the country and as part of their Easter Revision Course they recognise that both parents and students would benefit from some stress management techniques. Clare ran a webinar live for MyEdSpace which has had 1.8k views in the first two weeks - suggesting a high demand for this support.
